Gaseous Fire Suppression System

Systems with CO2 may be controlled manually or automatically. The automatic system is always designed with time delay and other safety functions which facilitate evacuation of persons present in the protected space. Suitable type of automatic detection must be selected with respect to correct function of the system. Strategy of protection against fire using the carbon dioxide depends on the nature of hazard and type of the environment. Most widely these systems are used as parts of flooding systems. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a colorless, odorless, and chemically inert gas that is both readily available and electrically non-conductive.

FM 200 System

FM-200 systems reach extinguishing levels in 10 seconds or less, stopping ordinary combustible, electrical, and flammable liquid fires before they cause significant damage. That’s the fastest fire protection available. When fire is extinguished so quickly, it means less damage, lower repair costs, and an extra margin of safety for people.
The FM-200 is stored in cylinders as a liquid and is pressurized with nitrogen, saving huge amounts of storage space.
